Infratel Italia today announced the availability of the Infratel WebGis, an interactive map that allows you to view and consult the infrastructures created in the implementation of the Ultra-Large Band Plan or BUL. The map allows you to carry out searches by region, province and municipality and shows the works carried out by Infratel with direct intervention (mainly FTTC) and by Open Fiber under concession, both in terms of FTTH and FWA networks.

The map allows you to view not only the real estate units reached, but also details of the network structure such as manholes, distributors, optical cabinets and the coverage areas of the base stations for FWA wireless services. The tool thus allows you to identify whether your street address is covered by the BUL network and secondly the position of the wardrobe and manhole closest to your home.

We remind you that the BUL plan only concerns areas identified as “market failure”, where at the time the project was defined there were no other operators with broadband connections and where a state-owned network was created. The map therefore does not include the networks created with private interventions by other operators or the infrastructures that fall within the 1 Giga Italy plan.
