Monte dei Paschi di Siena started the day with a rise. Juventus FC records a fractional decline. Bitcoin has risen above $70,000

The major Italian Stock Exchange indices and the main European financial markets they started the last session of the week with fractional increases. Piazza Affari will be closed on Friday 29 March and Monday 1 April 2024 for the Easter holidays; trading will resume regularly on Tuesday 2 April.

At 09.20 am FTSEMib was up 0.05% to 34,776 points, while the FTSE Italia All Share it earned 0.04%. Minus sign, however, for the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (-0.08%) and for the FTSE Italia Star (-0.18%).

THE main US stock indexes they ended the session in positive territory. The Dow Jones made progress of 1.22% to 39,760 points, while the S&P500 recovered 0.86% to 5,248 points. A plus sign also for the Nasdaq (+0.51% at 16,400 points).

Negative closure, however, for the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The Nikkei index dropped 1.46% to 40,168 points, after fluctuating between a minimum of 40,054 points and a maximum of 40,482 points.

The bitcoin it rose above 70,000 dollars (just over 65,000 euros).

The Btp-Bund spread remains above 130 points, with the yield on the 10-year BTP exceeding 3.65%.

L’EUR fell below $1.08.

The Monte dei Paschi di Siena started the day with a rise of 1.02% to 4.242 euros. The Sienese institute announced that the ECB has approved the proposal for the payment of a dividend of 0.25 euros per share, for a total amount of approximately 315 million euros, to be submitted to the shareholders’ meeting scheduled for 11 April .

Juventus FC recorded a fractional decline of 0.46% to 2.176 euros. The Juventus club announced that at the end of the capital increase, 246,628,440 option rights were exercised for the subscription of 123,314,220 new shares, equal to approximately 97.6% of the total new shares offered. The total value is equal to 195.08 million euros.

The leap of stands out El.En. (+8.87% to 11.54 euros).
