European elections with regional views for the centre-right. At stake are not only the seats for Strasbourg, but also the internal challenge between Brothers of Italy, Forza Italia And League. The three parties of the government majority have legitimate ambitions to bring one of their men as candidate for governor in 2025. And it is therefore an internal derby, with the results for the European elections that will be able to say a lot in this sense. But if Brothers of Italy And League are also competing for the presidency in other regions, Forza Italia seems to be focusing on Campania. To legitimize this ambition, however, the Azzurri will have to keep the League behind them and get as close as possible to Brothers of Italy in the preferences of the Campanians to the European ones. It is perhaps for this reason that he will also be in the lists of the Azzurri in the South Alessandra Mussolini. The outgoing MEP, candidate not only in the center but also in the southern constituency, was strongly supported on the list in the South by Fulvio Martusciellooutgoing head of delegation of Fi in the European Parliament and leaders of the Azzurri in the South.

But not just the European ones. For Brothers of Italy the commitment to the Campania of another true Neapolitan minister, Gennaro Sangiuliano. But the head of the Ministry of Culture has declared several times that he wants to continue being a minister. In recent hours the name of the former president of Confindustria has cropped up again Antonio D’Amatochased several times by the center-right as a possible minister, candidate for the presidency of the Region oh mayor of Naples.

Among the parties, who seems to want to push harder for the presidency? Campania is exactly Forza Italia. Also because the national table for the 2025 regional elections has other boxes already occupied by the other parties.
