“They are ‘never filmed stories’ – explains the author – because their characters were so anxious to come to life that they couldn’t wait for the Jurassic times of the cinema for which they were born. And so, paper replaces celluloid and speaks of them and of the profound feeling that unites them in this collection: love, in all its forms”.

In reality, Marino, born in 1982 and originally from Scampia, managed to film one of the stories in the collection. “Alice’s Gift”, in fact, adapted and directed by him, became a short film with Lino Guanciale, Valentina Carnelutti and Ilaria Porcelli: it won two Silver Ribbons and over thirty awards all over the world.

The Mooks meeting will be moderated by the journalist Antonio Mocciolawith readings by Antonio Perna.
