Five evenings, over 60 events including presentations, readings, workshops for children spread across 8 squares, not only in the historic center but in all five neighborhoods of Florence. The third edition of “Piazze dei Libri – Parole in comune” starts on Tuesday 11 June, organized by Confartigianato Imprese Firenze.

The variety of genres and authors is rich. Tuesday 11th at 9pm, in Piazza della Repubblica, Ninni Bruschetta presents The school of silence (Harper & Collins).
Wednesday 12 The wolf pit (Mondadori) by Ben Pastor in SMN at 9pm, while in Piazza Strozzi, again on Wednesday 12th, the reading of My creature (Giunti Editore) by Silena Santoni.
Bobo Rondelli arrives in Piazza della Repubblica on Thursday 13th with Absurd Stories (The Saifam Group) accompanied by Chitarre da Ripostiglio, Daniel Saldana Paris presents in Piazza Strozzi The dance and the fire (Polidoro Edition). Also on June 13th at 7pm in Piazza Elia dalla Costa Beautiful professor (Edizioni Erasmo) by Paolo Boschi, while at 9pm in Dalmatia there will be space for Tangerine (E/O) by Emanuela Anechoum. Friday 14th at 9pm in SMN Benedetta Tobagi presents The massacres are all a mystery (The third); always on Friday 14th at 9pm in Piazza dell’Isolotto there is Nicoletta Verna with The days of Glass (Einaudi); Saturday 15th in via de’ Cerretani 9pm Carlotta Vagnoli and her family Nocturnal animals (Einaudi); Wednesday 13th in Piazza Dalmazia, to discover the all-Florentine publishing house, Clichy. Furthermore, this year “Florence reading in the Piazza dei Libri – The Book Party is in the city” is planned: it involves taking your book to the square, sitting down to read in silence for the first half hour and the Afterwards anyone who wants can make a small intervention on their reading (a short comment, reading a page aloud, starting from 6pm).
