“Whatever happens” (Aska) by Filippo Boni on the human and professional history of the visionary entrepreneur Fabrizio Bernini lands at the 2024 Turin International Book Fair which is scheduled for next May 9th to 13th. The book, which has now reached its third reprint, will be presented on Saturday 11 May at 10.30 am at the Sala Indaco del Lingotto in Turin with the author, the protagonist and the Tg1 presenter Cecilia Primerano.

The volume traces the difficult and painful life of Fabrizio Bernini and that of his family. Ada, her mother, was abandoned at the Istituto Degli Innocenti in Florence: adopted first by farmers from the village of Solata and then by a hermit sharecropper from Rapale, she lived an existence full of obstacles and loneliness.

After his marriage, Alvaro, the father, fell into the tunnel of alcohol due to a family tragedy and ended up dragging the whole family into affliction, even little Fabrizio, who grew up amidst difficulties and suffering. Like pieces of a mosaic, thanks to Filippo Boni’s profound and poignant narration, one after another the memories collected in this book recompose the portrait and journey of a courageous and fearless man who, despite the pains of existence, always knew how to get back up, he pursued his dream and the professional goals he had set for himself until he became one of the greatest self-made men in the history of industrial Tuscany, defeating the specters that since his childhood risked kidnapping him forever.

Here then is that the life of a man also becomes a universal teaching, a profound and authentic confession, a story that is a hope for young people and that pushes them to never give up on their dreams. Participation in the presentation on May 11th at 10.30 am will be free and will give access to the Show at the indicated time. To register for the event click here.
