Book Fair kicks off, the biggest ever celebration of the people of readers at Lingotto

With more than a thousand publishing houses (in line with the latest editions) and many guests, the Turin Book Fair, in its first edition directed by Annalena Beniniis ready to welcome visitors to Lingotto Fairs from today to May 13th. Indeed, the first ones were already seen yesterday, at the opening of the Rights Centerwhere there are currently around 500 accredited operators (already reaching last year’s figure) and three foreign production companies are present for the first time, to Germany, Swiss And Austria.

The spaces

The most important new feature is Pavilion 4, a temporary structure located outside, between Pavilion 3 and the Oval, which hosts theArena Bookstock and spaces dedicated to younger people. The Show also extends further into the external area behind the Congress Center (along Via Mattè Trucco) with the Live Stage next to tables and chairs for stops during the visit.

At the entrance on via Nizza a new ladder appears which allows visitors who have already entered to reach the Congress Center without encountering the Rights Center operators. Four entrances remain: from via Nizza, from the Lingotto Shopping Centre, from via Mattè Trucco and from the “promenade” between the Lingotto station and the Regione skyscraper.

The security
