Wacky – Dispensa di Rimedi Literari on Sunday 5 May, from 11am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 6pm, will arrive in Piazza Verdi in Busseto, as part of the third edition of the literary event Libri in viaggio born from the synergy between the Municipality of Busseto and the Libri per strada association of Sarzana, a rich calendar of meetings, stalls and workshops, with free entry, held in Piazza Verdi and in the streets of the historic center of Busseto.

Wacky – mobile place of ideas, the small itinerant caravan, metaphorical container of languages, conceived by the Ottotipi Association and created – as a project to promote reading – thanks to the contribution of the Cariparma Foundation as part of the Read Crea Independence call, will be animated by three hucksters who “pass off” a literary menu as a symptomatic “cure” for the most varied ailments, offering miraculous remedies and drawing the attention of passers-by with their magic.

A truly special shop, which mixes shelves of books, extracts of disused words, pills of poetic elixir verbs and slicers, toasters, scales, tools useful for predicting the future and finding the right remedy for every ailment.

In collaboration with the Sound Atlas of World Poetry, there is the Poetic Walk Voices on the Way, with Carolina Leporatti and Marco Zapparoli, a walking route along the streets of Busseto, four evocative stages in which poems, letters, songs from novels and short stories narrated and read aloud. The first stage is dedicated to music, the second to fear, the third to spirituality.

The last one, inside Villa Pallavicino, in collaboration with Ortocolto, will be dedicated to nature. The two routes, of four stages each (1-Courtyard of the Verdi Theatre, 2-Courtyard of the Collegiate Church of San Bartolomeo, 3-Library, 4-Ortocolto, Villa Pallavicino), lasting 50 minutes, will start from Piazza Verdi at 11.30 am and at 3.00 pm; participants will be offered a small gift at the end of the journey.
