The exhibition is entirely dedicated to the great Emilian illustrator, winner of numerous awards including the Andersen Award for best illustrator (2017) and the CABA award for best book 2023 Children’s African book awards.
The exhibition develops among the numerous volumes illustrated by Possentini: from The poetry of images, which gives the exhibition its title, to The alphabet of feelings, from Fairy tales and legends to Dreams with tails, in a rich journey that testifies to the extraordinary artistic vision and the technique used by the illustrator, made of “Crayons, colored pencils… and lots of joy!”, to quote the artist.
