“Night Beds”: the photography competition that celebrates the pleasure of reading – Turin News

The literary-pop festival “Night Beds” he has always had the gift of surprising and involving. This year, one of the most anticipated innovations was undoubtedly the first edition of the photo contest “The pleasure of reading”. A competition that saw the participation of more than one one hundred non-professional photographers, ready to capture, with their objectives, the very essence of the pleasure of reading. The contest, in fact, was born with the intention of promote the importance and beauty of reading and the vast opportunity offered by libraries to facilitate the discovery of such beauty.

There jurycomposed by Roberta RoginaFIAF delegate of the province of Turin, Elisabetta Lucido And Filiberto Albertoboth photographers, had the arduous task of selecting the ten finalist images. Among the authors of the selected photos we find Patrizia Bonfratello, Andrea Caliendo, Giovanni Cappello, Vidiah Evola, Katiuschia Fiorina, Giulia Mariotto, Sara Olivero, Laura Podda, Daniela Policriti and Morena Romano.

Thursday 9 Mayat 9.00 pm, during the press conference of “Beds of Night 2024” which will be held in conference room of the Banca Territori del Monviso in via Chieri 31 in Carmagnolathe selected works will be revealed to the public.

After the revelation, the images will be visible and voteable on the Instagram page of the Banca Territori del Monviso until 12 June. The three most voted images will receive shopping vouchers, thanks to the contribution of the same bank, which can be spent in Carmagnola shops. There awards ceremony will take place on Friday 13 Juneduring the penultimate evening of “Letti di Notte”.
