Sciure on Fire reveals the secret on how to furnish your home with style and personality
Descriptive text here

Sciure on Fire, three women with a passion for vintage. The invitation into their space, to discover how to furnish the house to make it unique and special. Thanks to the personality

The house can have a thousand meanings. It’s family, it’s love, but first of all it’s warmth. Perhaps it is not impeccable or in the latest fashion: there are some marks on the parquet, the lamp at the entrance dates back to the 1960s and the tray shows a liqueur already started. Perhaps, the “out of style” combination can be considered a point of demerit and yet, a radio cabinet inherited from the great-grandfather has that je ne sais quoi when combined with a modern bookcase. The house is a container of memories, of life lived, of tears and joys. It’s pure history. And it talks about us and our personality. And even if there is a bit of disorder – of “casino” – it is part of the game. On the other hand, we fall in love not only for the qualities but also (or above all) for the unique and inimitable defects.

The feeling of “home”

Feeling at home is exactly the feeling I had when I was welcomed into the space of Sciure on Fire, in Corso Garibaldi at number 71: when I arrived on the floor of a period building, that of “old Milan”, I was immediately overwhelmed by the heat. Colours, shapes and volumes (but also a lot of light) enveloped me together with the smiles of the two (of the three) founders. Three women, three personalities with three different skills to represent the different facets of this creative studio: Camilla Morando, with training in Interior design at the European Institute of Design in Milan and also with a master’s degree in Design for Public Spaces at the Polytechnic of Milan; Camilla’s aunt, Simona Quadro, with a degree in Literature and a past as a fashion buyer between New York and Milan, now also involved in the real estate sector; Nadia Quadro, Camilla’s mother and Simone’s sister, a great researcher and vintage enthusiast, always intent on discovering new pieces, while she carries on the Quadro family business in Asti.
