Princess Charlotte turns nine today. And, as happened last April 23rd for the six years of her brother and Prince Louis, Kensington Palace has released a new photograph of her which portrays her in the garden next to some flowers. This time too, mother Kate was behind the lens, as Kensington Palace specified. The image shows Charlotte smiling, her long blonde hair loose, in a garden next to a flowering plant. «Happy ninth birthday, Princess Charlotte! William and Kate’s firstborn, Prince George, will turn 11 on July 22nd. He is second in line to the throne after his father. Today’s birthday girl Charlotte is third in line to the throne. A lover of dance, especially ballet and tap, she is known for being more exuberant than her two brothers. Her mother, the Princess of Wales, describes Charlotte as “the one in charge”. Her middle names are Elizabeth, after the deceased queen and great-grandmother, and Diana, after the princess and grandmother she never knew.
