According to Roberto D’Agostino’s website, the presenter is said to be in negotiations with Discovery: an afternoon program on Nove could arrive for her.

Last year Mediaset replaced Barbara D’Urso with Myrta Merlino as host of Afternoon 5. The presenter’s farewell to the program of which she was host for 15 years was not simple. «Left at home without warning», «I didn’t agree on anything» she said in an interview with Republic, underlining his regret for not being able to greet his audience. For his part, Pier Silvio Berlusconi assured that the choice made is purely editorial: the intention is to give the network’s afternoon slot a more journalistic twist.
