The number of dead and 50 wounded following an Israeli raid on a tent city in the western part of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, has risen to 25. This was announced by the Ministry of Health, after a previous report by the Red Crescent spoke of 18 deaths. An attack “with large caliber bullets” which damaged the Red Cross headquarters in Gaza on Friday. The organization’s offices were surrounded by displaced people living in tents. “Firing so dangerously close to humanitarian facilities puts the lives of civilians and humanitarian workers at risk,” the Red Cross said on Mawasi, not far from Rafah. An Israel Defense Forces spokesman said what happened was “under review.”
