Tension rises along the 38th parallel, on the border between North Korea And South Korea. South Korean soldiers have shot of warning shots towards military North Koreans who have briefly crossed the border between the two countries. The North is building a wall on the border with the South

According to BBCfrom the analysis of satellite images it emerged that North Korea would be building a wall near the border with South Korea, inside the demilitarized zone (DMZ).

There demilitarized zone is a 4 kilometer wide buffer zone on the border between the North and the South, which are still technically at war having never signed a peace treaty after the end of the Korean War (1950-1953). The DMZ is divided into two zones, one controlled by the South and the other by the North.
