It could have been a tragedy, but fortunately it wasn’t. An almost two-year-old German girl was thrown from the window by her mother into a cat carrier. According to what the MailOnline reports, after an eleven meter flight the little girl managed to save herself, suffering “only” fractures to her arms and legs.

The story
She fell eleven meters, but miraculously survived. The incredible story comes from Berlin, in an apartment building in the Altglienicke district. The little girl flew from the third floor and suffered fractures to both her arms and legs. The alarm was raised by a passer-by who told rescuers that he had heard the 21-month-old baby crying from the carrier which had ended up in a pile of rubbish. The little girl is now hospitalized in intensive care. The other son, present in the apartment at the time of the events, was entrusted to social services, while her mother was arrested for attempted murder. The whereabouts of the father are currently unknown.
