In recent days, Sumy Oblast has seen an escalation of Russia’s military offensive, with eleven settlements targeted, 36 attacks and at least 166 explosions. These data emerge from the latest bulletin of the regional military administration, which testifies to a significant increase in the aggressiveness of Moscow’s operations in the area. The localities of Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Putyvl, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, Druzhba, Znob-Novgorodske and Vorozhba were hit with a wide variety of armaments, including light artillery, rocket systems multiple launch, FPV drones and mortar rounds. Mines have been dropped, significantly increasing the risks to civilian residents. Also for this reason, nn the Ukrainian region of Sumy, the evacuation of inhabitants from the cities of Bilopilia and Vorozhba has begun.
