A VIDEO shows how the Houthis attack ships with drones

The Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf have become stretches of sea at very high risk of attack by the Houth while sailing. As is known, these pro-Iranian Yemeni militiamen target ships with origin or destination Israel or attributable to Israeli, British or US interests.

But how do attacks carried out with the use of drones actually happen?

This question was answered with a video by Giuseppe Trizzino, co-founder of Praesidium International, an Italian company that offers maritime security services to ships through the use of armed private guards and defense systems for navigation.

The video published on his LinkedIn profile, taken from a Yemeni website, clearly shows the type of drones that are actually used by the Hiuthis, how they take off and above all how they are directed towards the hulls of merchant ships in transit. Each winged vehicle, until a few months ago available for purchase on the most common marketplaces at the price of a few tens of thousands of dollars (while they are shot down by Western military missions with the use of missiles worth millions of euros), is maneuvered to precisely reach the desired target.

In the video in question, the command bridge against which the drone, loaded with explosives, was directed is that of the modern bulk carrier ship Cyclades of the Greek shipping company Eastern Mediterranean Maritime.
