While the Christmas holidays are still in full swing, Mondovì Volley is already looking to spring and announces the 15th edition of the Ceramics Tournament on its social channelsthe unmissable event of the Easter weekend for women’s youth volleyball, scheduled from 2 to 4 April 2026.
An important milestone for an event which in the last edition recorded dizzying numbers: 86 participating teams and over 1200 young athletes from all over northern Italy, who animated not only the sports facilities of Mondovì but also those of the neighboring municipalities.
To the main ones news of the 2026 edition will be the extension of the event to three full days of racingcompared to the two traditional ones. The tournament will start on Thursday 2 April in the afternoon with the elimination rounds of all competing categories: Under 18, Under 16, Under 14, Under 13 and Under 12. On Friday 3 April it will continue with the completion of the group stage and the first direct elimination rounds, while the grand finale is scheduled for Saturday 4 April with semi-finals, finals and the traditional awards ceremony at the Palamanera.
Among the most anticipated innovations, the inaugural ceremony scheduled for the evening of Thursday 2 April. For the first time, all the participating teams will parade through the historic center of Mondovì Breo until they reach St. Peter’s Square, where the official opening of the tournament will be held. A moment of collective celebration that will allow the young athletes to live a unique experience of sharing and aggregation at the end of the first day of competitions.
The organisation, which has already been working for months, has foreseen numerous logistical improvements, including a completely renewed plan for the management of meals and services for the participating teams. The declared objective is to consolidate the “TdC” as a national reference event for youth volleyball tournaments.
The initial feedback has been enthusiastic: over 50 teams have already confirmed their participationdemonstrating confidence in the renewed format of the event. Registrations remain open and the organizers expect to exceed the numbers of the previous edition.
