What they were the professional relationships between Fabrizio Corona and Alfonso Signorini before the case exploded two weeks ago The most false would overwhelm the conductor of the Big Brother VIP? In recent days the issue had been raised by Signorini’s lawyer, Andrea Righi, who had called Corona into question by claiming that the former king of the paparazzi, during the interrogation given to the Prosecutor’s Office after the kidnapping, had told the magistrates that he owned an agency capable of facilitating entry to the GF in exchange for money.

Words that today take on a different meaning in light of what was told to Fanpage.it and Luciano Punzoformer competitor of the reality show, regarding the methods of his entry into the House.

Following a series of reports relating to the methods of Luciano Punzo’s entry into the Big Brother House, Fanpage.it contacted the former Neapolitan gieffino to verify the facts. Punzo reported that he joined the cast of the 2022/2023 edition following a call in which, according to what he said, Fabrizio Corona, Alfonso Signorini and an author of the program would have participated. In reconstructing those circumstances, Punzo indicated precisely Corona as the means of his entry into reality TV:

I got the GF through Fabrizio Corona: he proposed it to me four times after Temptation Island. Alfonso Signorini already called me for the edition previous to the one I participated in, but he wanted me to enter as a single person and not as a boyfriend.
Participation in Big Brother VIP and the search for single contestants
After listening to his response, we asked Punzo if he meant that he had been specifically asked to leave his girlfriend in order to enter the House. The man – who is now linked to a new partner and is the father of a little girl – replied: “No, when I entered the 2022/2023 edition I was already single again. It was during the first contact with the GF 2021/2022, which took place immediately after Temptation Island, that Alfonso called me to propose the GF but in that period I was dating Manuela Carriero and I replied that I wasn’t interested”.
But why would an ongoing relationship push him to lose interest in the GF? What did his relationship status have to do with the possibility of taking part in the program? Pressed to explain himself better, Punzo clarified: “At that time they were only looking for single guys. But no one asked me to leave my girlfriend. They only told me that an engaged contestant didn’t fit the profile they were looking for. And I, who was close to my ex, replied that I would not be able to participate in the program”.
Things would change the following year when Punzo, once again single, was invited again to enter the House by means of a request that came right from Corona: “I didn’t enter that year. Then the story with Manuela ended and, through my agent Alex Pacifico, I began to get involved in cinema. Some time later Fabrizio called me back to invite me to be a GF again, and I decided to accept. So I entered the House”.
Punzo added that he had a regular audition in the presence of Signorini and the authors of the program e he denied having had personal relationships with the former host of GF Vipas well as being pressured by an agent or agency to take shortcuts to participate in a television program.
Why does Corona participate in the call between Luciano Punzo and Alfonso Signorini?
The dialogue with Punzo, the alleged four-way call with Signorini and the fact that it was Fabrizio Corona – according to what was reported by the former gieffino – who allowed him to participate in the GF open up a series of questions.
As what Corona was entitled to participate in a call between Punzo and Signorini preparatory to his entry into the House? And why is Corona, according to Luciano’s story, the one who gets the former face of Temptation Island an entry into reality TV? How could Fabrizio, apparently uninvolved in the choices relating to the cast of a program produced by Endemol and broadcast by Mediaset, have a say in the selection of a contestant? And why would Signorini and one of his authors have agreed to participate in a call with a potential gieffino and the man who today is the journalist’s main accuser?
If Punzo’s statements were confirmed, it would appear clear that Corona played an active role in the composition of the cast of the program hosted by Signorini and that the two could be linked by a professional relationship. What were, if any, the terms of this relationship?
