New Year’s Eve in the Bergamo area, a celebration of music and lights

Fireworks, live music, dinner and midnight toast. From the Valleys to the Plains, between Tuesday 30 December and Thursday 1 January it is rich the program to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Bergamo, between fun and aggregation.

The first date at Mount Porawhere the end of the year will be greeted today with a torchlight procession at 5.30 pm, on the Termen slope, with the possibility of participating even without skis. This will be followed by a show by the ski instructors and refreshments with hot tea, bon brulé and panettone.

Ad Ambivere the preparations for New Year’s Eve are in the name of safety, respect and sharing. In fact, a local police presence is planned between today (from 5pm to 11pm) and tomorrow (from 9pm to 1am), to avoid excessively disruptive behaviour, such as using firecrackers or fireworks. «We want New Year’s Eve to be a moment of joy for the whole community, without excluding anyone – says the mayor Vittorio Leoni -; with small gestures of respect we can start 2026 in the best possible way.”

To end 2025 in the best possible way, a Clusone is proposed a journey through the beauties of the city, discovering the secrets of two great classics: the Fanzago Clock and its original mechanism and the fresco of the Danse Macabre and Triumph of Death. The guided tour is scheduled for Wednesday 31 December at 10.30am with meeting at the Visit Clusone Infopoint in Piazza Orologio. To participate you need to book on visitclusone.it or at the Infopoint (the cost is ten euros for adults, free up to 12 years).

Great New Year’s Eve party also for the community of Villa di Serio, promoted by the municipal administration as part of the intense program of Christmas initiatives entitled “Christmas in Villa”. It will be prepared in the rooms of the cultural recreational center for the elderly in via Dosie the traditional dinner starting at 8pm. The New Year’s toast will instead take place in the historic Villa Carrara, seat of the Municipality, at 5pm on January 1st. A will follow musical entertainment with young people from the «Young Minds – Watermelon Party» association at 5.15pm. At the end, Mayor Mario Morotti will send his best wishes to the entire community and the Christmas lottery tickets proposed by the town’s traders and businesses will be drawn. The highlight of the celebrations is at 6pm with the fireworks display.

A Selvino the Town Hall square will host a party with music and entertainment for the last night of the year, organized by the Municipality and Pro loco. Starting from 10pm, DJ Dach, DJ Cacio, DJ Cefa and vocalist Eddy will liven up the evening. The music will continue until 1 am.

Also to Cultivate a New Year’s Eve party will be offered, organized by the Pro loco: at 7.30 pm the torchlight procession will start, with meeting point in Via Valle and the crossroads for Via Valzella. The arrival will be at the Presolana Cultural Forum in via Asline, where the old bonfire and fireworks will be held. The party will continue inside of the structure with the «New Year Aperiff», animated by the music of DJ Junker. Entrance is free, with the possibility of purchasing a card for ten drinks, in advance for 30 euros (part of the proceeds will be donated to charity).

A Treviglio This year the Fair will host the New Year’s Eve party in anticipation of 2026: «New Year’s Eve at Treviglio Fiera» is scheduled for tomorrow evening from 7.30 pm until 2 am in the exhibition center in via Roggia Moschetta, organized by Pro loco, Municipality, Commercial District and TreviglioFiera itself, in collaboration with Centro Commerciale Treviglio. In addition to the dinner, live music is also scheduled with the Stefano Frigerio Orchestra and a subscription to prizes: up for grabs is a 500 euro travel voucher (in collaboration with Ovet Treviglio) and shopping vouchers of up to 300 euros at the shopping center and up to 200 euros for purchases in Treviglio shops. Each participant will receive two prize entry tickets. «This beautiful tradition that the Pro loco had been carrying on for a decade had been lost – explains Stefano Cerea, president of the Pro loco –, but there was a great desire to return to celebrate together, as a community». Eleonora Pilotta, director of the Treviglio Shopping Center, also underlines: «We are proud to be the main sponsor of the New Year’s Eve party: a way to share the festive atmosphere and strengthen ties with the Treviglio community.

And Thursday at St. Peter’s Bridge the traditional appointment at the beginning of the year will be proposed in Piazza Libertà. The program starts at 6pm with the exchange of greetings and refreshments provided by the Alpini Group. From 6.15pm, DJ set and musical party in the square with the soundtrack proposed by Radio Ponte International and West Radio. At 7.25pm ​​institutional greetings and best wishes from the mayor, Matteo Macoli, before the most awaited moment: at 7.30pm the musical-fireworks show.
