After a very long month of waiting, fans of Bridgerton they can breathe a sigh of relief. Netflix has finally published the last episodes of the third season of the series: four one-hour appointments that will keep us company amidst the intrigues, loves and secrets of the lives of English nobles under the inspiration of producer Shonda Rhimes.
But what we will see in the final lines of this third chapter? We had parted with a dream kiss between Colin and Penelope and with a request that fans have long dreamed of: “Penelope Featherington, Do you want to marry me or not?.” Scenes that kept us glued to the screen, and which open up a new dynamic made of secrets and uncomfortable situations.
In the second part of the season, in fact, Penelope and Colin they will announce their marriage between the happiness of some and the doubts of many, due to the speed with which the two made this choice for life. He is the least happy of all Eloisewho begins to pressure Penelope to confess to Colin his second identity: that of the writer Lady Whistledown.
Things get complicated when Queen Charlotte decides to put a £5,000 bounty on Lady Whistledown to find out who is behind his writings. Penelope, devoured by anxiety and guilt, would like to confess the truth, but he still can’t find the courage to do it. Between doubts and fears, Penelope will have to deal with suspicions by Colin, who starts asking questions that the girl struggles to answer.
Another character who, for better or worse, feels linked to the story of the mysterious writer is Cressida Cowper. The woman, forced by her parents to marry a man much older than her, tries to escape his fate devising a plan that, with the right sum of money, would allow her to live independently. The bounty offered by the queen to discover the true identity Lady Whistledown could this be the right solution?
