Last night was the last episode of I Canto Familythe show hosted by Michelle Hunziker on Channel 5 Wednesday 12 June 2024and we finally discovered who the winner of the first edition of the program is: an energetic and always smiling little girl, Carlotta D’amico, accompanied on stage by her mother, Erika Colaianni, whose voice is as wonderful as that of her young daughter, full of determination and sense of rhythm. To win the 50 thousand euros intended for the winners of the first edition of I Canto Family I am Carlotta D’Amico and mother Erika, a very close-knit couple who throughout the show have demonstrated great singing ability, energy and above all passion, in addition to the love they feel for each other and which emerges every time they go on stage together and sing a song that is always gives you goosebumps. Making this complicity and the love that binds them clear was also the choice of the first song with which they performed in the final in front of all the judges – Al Bano, Orietta Berti, Fabio Rovazzi and Claudio Amendola -, that is The first beautiful Thing. In fact, the jury rewarded their performance and the incredible story of mother and daughter, so much so that each of them awarded 10 points to the couple (and it’s only the first round!). “She is my first beautiful thing,” said mother Erika, 17 years older than her daughter Carlotta.

Io Canto Family: what we know about the winners
Carlotta D’Amico she is 8 years old and was the youngest contestant on Io Canto Family. The little girl sang together with her mother, with whom she lives in Santa Lucia del Mela, a small village in the Messina area. As regards the history of those directly involved, we discovered from Erika that she had her daughter when she was still a minor (17 years old): they practically grew up together. After the end of the relationship with Carlotta’s father, she met Manuela, her life partner who seems to have an excellent bond with her little girl. Finally, Erika revealed what she would do with the prize money: “I have always been afraid of not being able to let Carlotta study as she deserves, I would use them for her future“, while Carlotta replied: “I would go to New York!“.
