Maria has organized a collection to raise money and help Salvador pay for the operation that could restore his sight: Catalina, Manuel and even Abel will participate in the bake sale. Fernandez, however, advised herself not to say anything to the ex-soldier who would surely have ensured that no one would worry about him. This secret will be broken by Feliciano who, not knowing the plan, will push Salvador to find out what their colleagues are up to. Feliciano isn’t able to get it right: after risking getting Candela and Simona into trouble, the boy will decide to reveal to everyone that he informed Petra of the presence of a man from the cooks’ room, but will swear he didn’t mention it to Cruz.
Although everyone has understood that it was the wicked maid who warned the marquise, they will not be able to forgive the young man they will continue to treat him with contempt: the only person who seems willing to help him will be Teresa.
