You never forget your first love and can sometimes dream of a happy ending (not only in novels). Gianluigi Donnarumma and his girlfriend Alessia Elefante they confirm across the board. The Italian goalkeeper, in tandem with Mattia Zaccagni, is a national hero for his exploits in the field European Football Championships 2024 in Germany, he left his Campania ten years ago, but was able to count on the closeness of his partner, his little dog Coco and soon a new arrival.

With a post on Instagram posted last May 26, Gigio Donnarumma has announced the pregnancy of his girlfriend Alessia. With a series of social media shots (and coordinated Italy shirts), the 25-year-old shared the happy news with followers, fans and the media. In her photos, the 26-year-old mom-to-be shows her large belly for the first time, not revealing further details, confirming the couple’s desire for privacy.
The love story
The family expands and is the culmination of a story born more than ten years ago, when Gigio and Alessia met as children in Castellamare di Stabia. An acquaintance that comes to a halt in 2013. At just 14 years old, he followed in the footsteps of his brother Antonio and left for Milan to wear the Rossoneri shirt (in 2015 he was definitively promoted to the first team, starting the 2015-2016 season as the club’s third goalkeeper).
In 2016, the friendship between Alessia and Gigi became something more (at a distance) until 2017 when, after graduating, she moved to Milan, starting their cohabitation in City Life, a few steps from the Ferragnez’s former home. He struggling with training and matches, she with university (today she is an interior designer) are the antithesis of worldliness. The next chapter of their story is set in Paris after Donnarumma’s move to French club Paris Saint-Germain in July 2021 (highly contested by Milan fans).
It goes without saying Alessia will also be at his side in this new adventure in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. Even in Paris zero gossip and newsif not in July 2023 when their names end up on the front page after one night of terror experienced in their home in the 8th arrondissement of the French capital after several people sneaked into the home, tying up the couple and stealing a loot of 500,000 euros in cash, watches, jewelry and luxury leather goods.
