“Surely I specifically asked for the votes for Ilaria Cavo while speaking with one of the two Testas». The president of Liguria, Giovanni Toti, responded thus to the Genoa prosecutors in yesterday’s interrogation when asked what had been said with the Testa brothers on September 12, 2020 at a dinner at the Punta Vagno restaurant. «The meaning of my intervention – continues Toti – was to ask to lend a hand to Cavo despite the misunderstandings that had existed.”

The prosecutors then refer to a conversation in which Toti refers to the Testa brothers and he fears that the two could “rip him apart”. “It was an ironic dialogue” points out the suspect.
Second point of questioning: the supply of vaccines for Liguria e the alleged alteration of the “over 80” population to obtain a greater number of doses: «I exclude that Alisa (Ligurian health company, ed.) has transmitted untruthful data. There may have been some discussion about the number of people over eighty permanent residents and those who resided there temporarily and which we should have taken charge of.”
