After the very first spoilers on Jujutsu Kaisen 258, new previews have arrived (probably not in order) on the next chapter of the manga by Gege Akutami. For those interested in continuing reading, we would like to point out that there will be spoilers from here on.
The narrator of the work, according to the information provided to us by the usual and reliable profile Consecutive Black Lightning thrown by Yuji and now the King of Curses is in obvious difficulty.
Meanwhile, the focus shifts to a flashback dedicated to Choso. Yuji’s “brother” took an interest in the methods by which sorcerers use the Reverse Cursed Technique to manage blood flow when they regenerate.
Shoko converts the Cursed Energy into blood, while Yuta does it instinctively and Hakari automatically.
Choso also reveals that he and Yuji do not suffer the disadvantage of the Reverse Technique – i.e. the consumption of Cursed Energy – due to their “special” bodies.
Apparently, Yuji was trained in a very particular way to bring out the latent potential in him since Sukuna used his Cursed Technique, taking possession of the protagonist’s body. Kusakabe has in fact exchanged his soul with the young sorcerer to teach him the basics of Domination and the manipulation of Cursed Energy.
In the present, Sukuna fights back and cuts off Yuji’s leg, also recovering its Domain Expansion. The chapter ends with the terrifying villain ready to end the battle with a flaming arrow.
Will Yuji survive once again or will he have to capitulate? One thing is certain: Jujutsu Kaisen still has some mysteries to unravel before the end and let’s hope there is time to do so.
