In the series – whose the first three episodes are already available in streaming on Mediaset Infinity – the two actors play respectively the journalist Viola Vitale and the police inspector Francesco Demir. Purple like the sea 2 will be broadcast on Canale 5 for the first time from Friday 3 May.
Francesca Chillemi was born on 25 July 1985 in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (Messina). In 2003, at the age of 18, she won Miss Italy. She debuts on TV in the fourth season of A doctor in the family and since then he has taken part in several television productions, winning the hearts of viewers.
During her career, Francesca Chillemi has received important awards such as Margutta prize, The Way of the Arts as Best Fiction Actress and the Best Leading Actress award as part of the Filming Italy Best Movie Award of Venice Film Festival in 2022.
Can Yaman was born in Istanbul, Turkey, on 8 November 1989. After studying at the Italian High School in Istanbul, he graduated in Law in 2012. His debut as an actor was in 2014 in the series Gönül Isleribut success came in 2017 in the series Bitter Sweet – Ingredients of lovetogether with Ozge Gurel, with whom Yaman also starred in the 2020 series Mr. Wrong – Love Lessons. In Italy he became known mainly with the series DayDreamer – The wings of the dreamwhere he starred alongside Demet Özdemir.
Can Yaman also founded the association Can Yaman for Children pledging to raise funds for children and adolescents suffering from serious illnesses or disabilities.
