The delivery of the “keys” to the village of Vignale took place on the afternoon of April 20th by the mayor Corona, who is also a friend of Amadeus and his wife Giovanna Civitillo. The ceremony opened with performances by two promising dancers (Greta Poggi and Isabella Canova) in Piazza del Popolo, together with the Gospel choir led by Gianfranco Raffaldi. Amadeus and Giovanna got married in Vignale Monferrato in 2009 and the couple remained fond of the place: «I got married in Vignale fifteen years ago, so there is obviously a relationship of affection with this wonderful place, also because there was an extremely important. We have maintained a relationship, a friendship even with the mayor Ernesta Corona – Amadeus continues to say – so having citizenship is a great honor. In the many years that I had been asked, I said ‘later Sanremoafter my last Sanremo, I will come to Vignale with great pleasure to receive this beautiful thing.”
Rai – Discovery and a house in Alessandria
After announcing the divorce from Rai, Amadeus had the opportunity to see the hills of Monferrato again and relive the sensations of the day of his marriage to Giovanna. He could decide to buy a house in this area of Piedmont as Giovanni Storti and former footballer Roberto Bettega have already done? To the question the host replies: «And who knows?
