“Friends it was a gift, now I’m ready for anything”

The nice and talented Latinist Giovanni Tesse tells all the emotions he experienced and the background on his experience in the Amici school to the microphones of Comingsoon.it.

We interviewed exclusively Giovanni Tessethe dancer eliminated during the second episode of Evening Amici. Charismatic, sweet and very determined.Entered into the race strongly supported by Raimondo Todarowho has always supported him loudly, Giovanni has conquered everyone both inside and outside the Canale 5 school with his talent, energy and spontaneity.

Here’s what he revealed Giovanni Tesse to the microphones of Comingsoon.it: from his great passion for dance to his indescribable experience in the school of Friendsmarked by the beautiful relationship with her coach Raimondo Todaro and with his companions. Dreams in the drawer? Giovanni seems to have very clear ideas about this: making a living from dance and maybe, who knows, entering the world of fashion and entertainment.

What experience was it?

My dream has always been to perform on the Amici stage. I spent 150 days in the house, I danced a lot in the first episodes of the Evening and I’m really happy. As soon as I entered I realized that the biggest dream of my life, which was to stay there and stay there as long as possible, could have turned into a nightmare because I am very demanding of myself and I would go out with the remorse of not having given the maximum would have destroyed me. Luckily it didn’t happen that way. I gave everything I could give. I am satisfied above all with the journey and the good impression I think I made. The important thing for me was to grow a lot in school, every lesson was a gift for me.

Did you expect to be eliminated in the second episode?

Honestly no, I didn’t expect to come out in the second episode of the Evening until I went to the ballot with Marisol. I hadn’t given up, however, seeing how the rankings had gone and knowing her great talent, the chances of me getting out were really high. I wish the best for Mari, who together with Martina was the girl with whom I bonded the most.

Your elimination was deeply felt in the house…

Petit’s tears moved me. I didn’t expect him to react like this, he’s a puppy. We will definitely see each other outside, as happened with Nicholas. Petit, Mari and all the boys managed to make me leave the house with a smile. It was wonderful. I was obviously sad for the end of my journey, but happy to have left something behind. I have always tried to bring lightness and carefreeness. I really don’t know how they do without me and who will make them laugh now! I have no doubt that they still think of me (laughs ed.).

The fifth episode of the Evening saw the elimination of Gaia, who despite the injury accepted the proposal to stay in the game and be replaced by Aurora. What do you think of this situation?

I’m really sorry for her, I also experienced Gaia’s first injury at school. She never gave up in the face of difficulties. Nicholas and I were always the first ones in school who tried to be close to her. We took care of her like two older brothers than her. She is a very strong dancer and an extraordinary person. She is good and genuine. Her merit and her flaw for this world is perhaps precisely her goodness. She was faced with a difficult choice, I would have accepted the proposal to return next year for a matter of physical recovery. I would take time to recover. Gaia did what she felt, I will always be there for her. I continue to support her. I would have liked to enter the house in those days perhaps to distract her and make her laugh a little.

In the school you have always had the support of your coach Raimondo Todaro. What did it mean for you?

All. Our relationship is like that of a father with his son. He always helped me and advised me on what to do without ever setting limits. We have always tried to find a meeting point to work well together. There was a great understanding between us right from the start, we are very close. At school he made me feel really important and that’s not for everyone. Raimondo believed in me like my parents even in the most difficult moments. If it hadn’t been for him to call me to follow this path, I really wouldn’t be anyone today. I would have to thank him for the rest of my days and it still wouldn’t be enough.

Teacher Celentano also played an important role in your growth path…

Absolutely yes. Thanks to the teacher I got up the courage and got involved. If I had wanted to do only and exclusively Latin I wouldn’t have gone to Amici. When my homework came I accepted everything, I never held back. I may have made a fool of myself, but I don’t care. I wanted to try to do everything.

If Raimondo has always been close to you at school, outside you have always had the support of a beloved Latinist, Mattia Zenzola…

Mattia is a guy I already knew before joining Amici. Dancing Latin as a couple in the same category, we competed against each other in various competitions before he joined the program. Our friendship, however, was born later. Then when I entered the school, he was one of the first to compliment me. He helped me and advised me, he is a very good guy from every point of view. We hope to do some projects together, we will definitely see each other because ours is a friendship that goes beyond work.

Who will win Amici?

I can’t tell you one name in particular, I hope the best one wins. I am proud to have participated in one of the most beautiful and talented editions. There are dancers that I respect very much. I wish everyone, and me too, success after the program.

Who do you feel you need to say thank you to?

To my parents because if they hadn’t encouraged me to try dancing I wouldn’t be here today. It is thanks to them that I dance today. I also thank my sister because with me it really takes infinite patience. I’m not easily understandable, I’m fussy, I hate leaving things halfway. Let’s say I’m perfect in dance and in life.

Dreams in the drawer?

I would like to make a living from dance, but I don’t rule anything out. I will continue to study Latin and other styles, but I am ready to get involved in other areas too, be it in acting, fashion or entertainment. A great dream of mine would be to work for Maria De Filippi.
