Following the injury suffered by the dancer which raised fears of Gaia’s withdrawal from the evening show of Amici 23, the student decided to accept the proposal made by Pettinelli and Todaro: Gaia will be replaced during the three weeks of convalescence to allow her to recover and get back into the race. This decision, however, did not please everyone.
After seeing some videos, Anna Pettinelli and Raimondo Todaro called Gaia into the room, while in the house their conversation was visible and audible to all the other students: “I’ve heard talk like ‘But this dancer didn’t work hard like we did‘. The only thing your classmates take into consideration is that the new dancer might be a threat to them.” said Pettinelli.
The singing teacher continued by stating: “So not only do they not care if you manage to recover or not, but by the way they don’t consider you a threat, not good enough.
