Tragic fatal accident a Roveredo in Piano, small town of Pordenone in Friuli Venezia Giulia, where a man of 34 years, soldier of the USAF base in Aviano, lost his life this morning, Thursday 5 January 2023. The accident happened while the man was about to face a roundabout on his motorbike.
The dynamics of what happened are yet to be clarified. According to an initial still summary reconstruction, it could have been a loss of grip on the asphalt by the two-wheeler and then the consequent impact on the ground of the young centaur.
It was a passerby after 7 this morning who noticed the body of the man on the side of the road near the unconscious motorcycle. The passerby immediately called the region’s single emergency number Nue112.
The nurses of the regional health emergency operating structure quickly sent the health crews of one to the scene self-medicate and of one ambulance both coming from Pordenone. Also activated as far as possible the police forces who arrived at the scene of the accident, with patrols of carabinieriagents of local police and USAF base personnel for surveys and to monitor traffic conditions.
After first aid, the man involved in the accident was taken to theSanta Maria degli Angeli hospital of Pordenone in very serious conditions where she died shortly after, the injuries sustained and the blood lost were too serious and left him no way out.
Roveredo in Piano accident: loss of control of motorbike on state road 115
Another victim of the road riding a motorcycle. A 38-year-old man from Rosolini, Salvatore Gennaro, died in a car accident that occurred during the night on the highway 115 between Syracuse and Ragusa. The tragedy occurred in the territory of Ispicat the height of the venue “The Moors” in the direction of the municipality of Syracuse and according to an initial reconstruction by the carabinieri, the man was riding his motorcycle when for reasons yet to be ascertained he suddenly lost control of the vehicle which would then overturn.
After the alarm given by a motorist in transit on that stretch of road, help arrived but for the 38-year-old there was nothing more to do, the injuries sustained in the fall were too serious. The military of Company of Modica when they arrived on the spot, they started all the necessary investigations but over time it is increasingly probable that it was an autonomous accident, therefore without the involvement of other vehicles.
Police investigations
In any case, the investigators carried out some measurements on the asphalt to check if there were any traces of braking by other vehicles, because it could also have happened that the 38-year-old was forced to make a risky maneuver to dodge a speeding vehicle. Elements that are, however, being examined by the carabinieri, the same ones who then gave the news of the death to the man’s family.
From the first information, the 38-year-old didn’t have a stable job, he wasn’t married, but he was linked by a passion for animals, as shown by the photo on his social profile together with a dog and a motorcycle. It is not clear where he went last night, presumably in the company of some friends with whom to spend a few carefree hours.
Once the evening was over, the 38-year-old got on his bike but he could never have imagined that his life would soon be broken. The carabinieri of the Modica Company have seized, as expected in these circumstances, Gennaro’s vehicle for further investigations.
Meanwhile, the family, devastated by the news of the death, waits for the body to be returned for the funeral.
