The finish line remains decidedly distant and complicated, but something is moving. After the certified email sent by Lazio last Wednesday to the Campidoglio, technically an “expression of interest”, President Claudio Lotito should go to the Municipality this week to illustrate to the mayor, Roberto Gualtieri, the preliminary project to redevelop the Flaminio.
At the top, preparatory to the presentation of the documents at the competent offices of the Municipality for the possible subsequent convocation of the preliminary Services ConferenceEugenio Patané and Eugenio Veloccia, respectively the Capitoline councillor for Mobility and Urban Planning, could also participate.
What will be staged will be a confrontation for to anticipate to Gualtieri the main contents of the white and blue proposal for the redevelopment of Nervi’s work. At the moment, the only other real proposal is that of Roma Nuoto. This last project, already rejected at the Conference Services over a year ago, has come back into play thanks to the TAR.
The first level administrative body has deemed that the rejection of the Campidoglio had occurred without indicating any possible requirements to be brought to the project for the possible continuation of the administrative process. Returning to the Lazio project, the path chosen at a regulatory level is that of Public Private Partnership.
