From July 1st, the appointment with the theater dedicated to children and families is renewed in Grammichele (CT) with “La Piazza dei Piccoli”, the Review organized by the Cultural Association “Amici del Garbo”” with the Artistic Direction of the Cultural Association “Nave Argo”.

An initiative that during its past editions has consolidated in the expectations of the young and old spectators who took part and that has confirmed itself as a perfect opportunity to bring the Community together. The venue for the initiative has been confirmed, which will be the courtyard of the Parish of Gesù adolescenti (Via Alessandro Volta n.47).

The Festival is made up of three shows which will be offered on a weekly basis in the month of July.

The opening, Monday 1 July, will be organized by the Compagnia di San Lorenzo with the show “Il sarto furbacchione” by Michelangelo Maria Zanghì and texts by Antonino Anelli. On stage Ivan Bertolami, Alessio Pettinato, Emanuela Ungaro, Michelangelo Maria Zanghì. The protagonist of the title with cunning and ingenuity faces fun and unpredictable adventures, demonstrating that strength is not the only way to achieve his goals.

“The Giant and the little girl” is the title of the show by the OTqA / Casa Teatro Company which will be presented on Monday 8 July: on stage Irene Maiullari and Giorgia Tusa, lyrics and direction by Enrica Volponi. A delicate and surprising story in which young spectators can rediscover that complicated passage in life in which they grow up, without really feeling ready to be one.

The conclusion of the Review, Tuesday 16 July, will be entrusted to the Argo Ship Company which will present the show “A Frog Prince” performed by Giovanni Maugeri and Iridiana Petrone, also author of the texts and direction. When by a magical spell a vain Prince has been transformed into a Frog, some funny and friendly characters will open his eyes and make him know the true values ​​of life.

The Festival will benefit from the support of the Diocesan Caritas of Caltagirone and the collaboration of Latitudini, the Sicilian network of contemporary dramaturgy established in 2011 by some of the most interesting theatrical organizations active in Sicily.

The shows are scheduled to start at 7:00 pm.

The single entrance ticket at the box office will be 3.00 euros, free entrance for children under 3 years.
