The second evening of races of the 6 International Rose Days of Fiorenzuola d’Arda (Piacenza), the great track cycling event now in its 27th edition, with various grand prix of different disciplines that award points for the UCI ranking, has ended. . Three races were held on this special evening on the eve of the Tour de France stage which will start tomorrow morning from Piacenza.

SCRATCH WOMEN GRAND PRIX LM
The evening opened (after the qualifying races in the afternoon) with the final of the women’s scratch, valid as the LM Grand Prix, won with a great final sprint by Lee Sze Wing (Hong Kong China) ahead of the Mexican Victoria Velasco and the Australian Keira Will, awarded on stage by Michele Lagasi of the LM company.

MEN’S POINTS RACE GP PAVINORD
Great spectacle in the men’s Grand Prix Pavinord points race, a race that was decided at the last sprint despite several reversals in front. In the end, Ivan Novolodskii won, scoring 53 points, gaining two laps (40 points) and preceding the Italian Juan David Sierra, born in 2005, who reached 48, who gained a lap and won five sprints of the 15 planned (75 were the total laps). Completing the podium was the Australian Liam Walsh, able to gain a lap in the initial stages and then retain at least the bronze medal. The first three were awarded by Antonio Santi of the Pavinord company and the president of the Federciclismo Cordiano Dagnoni.

ELIMINATION WOMEN GP ALU TECNO
The women’s elimination race Gran Premio Alu Tecno closed this second evening in the name of the tricolor, the one worn by Piacenza’s Silvia Zanardi, a true prophet in her own country: in the last sprint between two she got the better of Lee Sze Wing (Hong Kong China). Third place for Poland’s Maia Tracka. The mayor of Fiorenzuola Romeo Gandolfi, the mayor of Piacenza Katia Tarasconi and the Uci councilor Daniela Isetti awarded them.
