In Lucignana the meeting with Ilaria Gaspari

Saturday 29 June, at 6.00 pm, Ilaria Gaspari, author of The reputation (Guanda), is in dialogue with Isabella Di Nolfo. The meeting takes place in the garden of the Libreria sopra la Penna of Lucignana (Lu) for the 4th edition of “Little Lucy. A literary festival so small”.

Reputation is what others say about us once we have left the room. It has nothing to do with the truth, because there are no innocents in the face of slander. And it can shatter when distrust pollutes the gaze and the line between guilt and gossip becomes blurred. This is what happens to the beautiful and enterprising Marie France, whose story, in Gaspari’s novel, touches on the deepest truths about life and becomes exemplary of our times so exposed to fame and disaffection.

Little Lucy. A literary festival this small”, curated by Alba Donati and Pierpaolo Orlando, in collaboration with Isabella Di Nolfo and Tina Guiducci, is organized by Fenysia – School of cultural languages, is rcarried out with the support of the Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundation, with the contribution of the Municipality of Coreglia and the collaboration of the Green Cross and the Parish of Lucignana. Fundamental to the organization of the Festival is the work of the volunteers, guardians of the cottage’s activities who arrive from all over Italy full of enthusiasm.
