On the other hand, she had brought her husband, a 40-year-old Moldovan, into handcuffs. The man ended up on trial for mistreatment in the family and personal injury.
The hearing
The hearing was held in front of the criminal court where the defense witnesses, as well as the accused, defended by the lawyer Giorgio Canali, were presented. All charges have been denied to the sender. When she showed up at the Falconara police station that December she had a black eye. According to the prosecution reconstruction, he had thrown all his wife’s clothes on the floor, continuing to insult her. “You can’t smoke,” the 40-year-old would have said.
The boot
At a certain point, according to the prosecution, the defendant resorted to physical violence, hitting his wife with his fists. “This time I’ll kill you. I’ll kill you and my ex, I’m not afraid of the police.” Frightened by the situation, the woman took her things, her children and ran to ask for help from the police at the station. “I can’t take it anymore,” she said in a faint voice. She ended up in the emergency room for a head injury that was judged to heal in seven days. Her husband, now at liberty, was arrested and taken to prison. The trial was adjourned, with sentencing in September.
