Domestic accident in garage, 8-year-old boy dies in Avellino province

The little boy allegedly hit his head violently: the Carabinieri are investigating the incident and are trying to reconstruct the dynamics of what happened. A day of mourning has been declared.

Tragedy a Montemaranoa small town in the province of Avellino, where an 8-year-old boy died following a domestic accident that occurred yesterday evening, Wednesday 26 June. From what we learn, the child was in the garage of his home when, for reasons still being ascertained, he violently hit his head: the 118 paramedics intervened promptly on the scene, and could do nothing but confirm the death of the child.

The carabinieri from the local station and those from the Montella company also arrived at the scene of the tragedy and started investigations to precisely determine the dynamics of what happened. The child’s body was transferred to the morgue of the San Giuseppe Moscati hospital in Avellino, at the disposal of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Citizen mourning has been proclaimed in Montemarano

The mayor of Montemarano also spoke about the tragedy, which affected the entire community, Beniamino Palmieri, which proclaimed the citizen for tomorrow, Friday 28 June. The mayor wrote:
