“I make use of the right not to respond.” Thus the 46-year-old Simone Gresti yesterday afternoon connected remotely from the Jesi barracks with the investigating judge Carlo Masini, during the guarantee interrogation relating to the accusation of cocaine dealing and mistreatment of his ex Andreea Rabciuc, the 27-year-old of Romanian origins who disappeared into thin air on March 12th two years ago and then emerged on January 20th (when his remains were found in an abandoned farmhouse less than a kilometer from the place of his disappearance). An interrogation that lasted less than five minutes and during which Gresti did not want to answer the questions. “My client has made use of the right not to respond, we will evaluate how to proceed. This is only part of the investigation” his lawyer Emanuele Giuliani limited himself to saying as he left the barracks. Drug dealing but also mistreatment of the 27-year-old of Romanian origins are the crimes alleged against him in Gresti who lives with her parents in Moie. Because apparently the girl had asked for help due to the mistreatment and beatings she suffered and she had also turned to an anti-violence centre, as well as wanting to get out of the drug tunnel (she was intending to enter the community). He was sleeping on Tuesday morning when, at 10.30 am, he was notified of his house arrest by the carabinieri of the Radiomobile Unit of the Jesi company who, after a long investigation, reconstructed a series of drug dealing activities carried out by the 46-year-old from Moie, a former truck driver who remains the only one, is also under investigation for voluntary homicide, kidnapping and, alternatively, incitement to the girl’s suicide. The latter investigations have not been closed and for which Gresti has not yet been questioned. The investigations started in March 2022 (the period of the girl’s disappearance, after a last turbulent night spent with Gresti and two other acquaintances inside a caravan on Montecarottese) and brought to light numerous episodes in which drug dealing occurred. drugs, and in particular cocaine, against several young people from Vallesina. The mobile phones and tablets that belonged to Andreea and Gresti are still seized, to whom the car was returned in the meantime where minimal traces of her blood were found. The investigative activity, for now, has concluded with the application of a precautionary measure of house arrest ordered by the judge for preliminary investigations, at the request of the public prosecutor Irene Bilotta who directed the investigations. The investigators seem to lean towards instigating suicide by Gresti, a suicide which occurred after that last turbulent night in the caravan, in a farmhouse just one kilometer away from the location of the party. The case was discussed again last night on the show “Chi have you seen it?” who worked for over two years before her disappearance and then the discovery of the remains on which investigations are being completed.
