The National Women’s National Team – in view of the last two matches of the European qualifying group scheduled with the Netherlands (Friday 12 July in Sittard, 8.45 pm) and Finland (Tuesday 16 July in Bolzano, 7 pm) – meets today Wednesday 26 June in Galzignano Terme (small municipality in the province of Padua).

On Saturday 29th June the transfer to Riscone di Brunico is scheduled, where the Azzurre will remain until the departure for Sittard (the designated location for the match against Holland).

This is a double commitment that will be decisive for the fate of Andrea Soncin’s team, forced to recover a position to obtain the direct pass for the tournament which will be played from 2 to 27 July 2025 in Switzerland. Our national team is currently third behind the Oranje selection and Norway and would therefore be out of the running

By Saturday 6 July Coach Soncin will release the list of players called up for the 180 minutes which will establish whether the national team will directly qualify for EURO 2025 or if instead it will have to go through the gauntlet of the play-offs scheduled for the end of the year: a real lottery.
