GENOA – More eagerly awaited than sun and good weather this summer are only the festivals, typical summer events that enliven the evenings of the Genoese with typical products, concerts, shows and lots of fun. This year too there are various gastronomic events in the city of Genoa, below handbook on the main initiatives (article being updated).
CAMALLI FESTIVAL WITH GASTRONOMIC STANDS – FROM 28 TO 29 JUNE
The 7th Camalli Festival. From 5pm onwards food stands, bars, music and inflatable games for children. Friday 28th appointment with The Chicago Groovers – Blues Brothers Tribute Band, while Saturday 29th tribute to Vasco Rossi with Tropico del Blasco. The evening will end with fireworks.
The entire proceeds will be donated to the Giannina Gaslini Hospital in Genoa.
SAUSAGE FESTIVAL IN PIEVE LIGURE – 29 JUNE
On June 29th the second edition of the Sausage Festival comes to life, presented by Pro Loco Pieve Ligure Aps, with the patronage of the Municipality of Pieve Ligure. Appointment in Piazza San Michele at 7pm. Musical entertainment by Les Crikò. To reach Piazza San Michele in Pieve Alta, a free shuttle will be active which connects the parking lot of the Pieve Ligure railway station with the upper area of the town, between 6pm and midnight.
A portion of the proceeds will go to charity, in support of two important causes:
– the TuttiperAtta Association
– the AI.MCTO Association odv Le Mani di Filippo (www.lemanidifilippo.org).
“JULY FESTIVALS” IN RAPALLO – FROM 1st TO 3rd JULY
Rapallo celebrates Patronal celebrations in July, an event awaited by many citizens. In these three days Rapallo celebrates the apparition of the Madonna of Montallegro which occurred on 2 July 1557. It is a great demonstration of popular faith which lasts from dawn until late at night. Already at 5 in the morning the faithful participate in the Holy Novena Mass in Montallegro, followed by processions and engaging prayers. Meanwhile, from morning to evening, thanks to the work of the Sestieri, the bangs of the masculine and fireworks that illuminate the Gulf.
SNAIL FESTIVAL AT VILLA TASSANI – FROM 5 TO 7 JULY
In Sestri Levante, at Villa Tassani, the 56th snail festival will take place from 5 to 7 July.

SNAIL AND ASADO FESTIVAL IN SAN BERNARDO DI BOGLIASCO – FROM 5 TO 7 JULY
On the occasion of the patronal feast Madonna della Salute, the traditional snail and asado festival returns to San Bernardi di Bogliasco on the evenings of Friday 5th and Saturday 6th July.
