There were many requests for contributions from the families affected by the floods collected by the second call for proposals from the Prato Pro Emergenze Committee: at the moment, in fact, the funds have been exhausted, the result of the generous and numerous financial donations from the associations and citizens of Prato and beyond, in addition to the twinned cities of Wangen and Ebensee, which the Prato Emergencies Committee had gathered following the flood that hit our territory last November 2nd.
Numerous families were damaged by the flood event and many requests were received in the two notices published in January (the first granted all the requests submitted) and in May. The available funds have all been disbursed, the maximum contribution per family unit was 600 euros, and at the moment it is not possible to cover all the requests received in the second call.
The collection campaign is still open and, for those who wish, it is possible to participate in the help campaign so as to be able to respond to those who are left out. The references are:
