(LaPresse) In Campobasso Marialuisa Forte wins the run-off against the centre-right candidate Aldo De Benedittis. The 61-year-old, former education director of the capital of Molise and school director, is the first female mayor of the city, supported by the Pd, M5S and AVS. “I’m happy, today is the time to celebrate this extraordinary result. Did I cry? Yes, I cried. Today we celebrate, but from tomorrow I will be at work and ready to collaborate with everyone, even with my adversaries, to make this city a better”, said the new mayor. The celebrations began immediately at the electoral headquarters in via Pietrunto.
