Two members of the commando who attempted a robbery at night, around 3am ATM attack to Bitonto were injured due toexplosion.
About ten days after the theft which occurred on June 15th against the Monte dei Paschi di Sienain the night a device craft was detonated in front of the ATM from the Deutsche Bank Of via della Repubblica.
At least they would have taken action five people, armed and with their faces covered. They would have blown up the ATM with the usual marmot technique after breaking down the front door of the bank.
As far as we know, something went wrong because two of the criminals were hit by the explosion and they were injured. The two are hospitalized at the Bari Polyclinic where they would have been “dumped” by their accomplices at the entrance to Viale Ennio. The more serious of the two is hospitalised in the ward Resuscitation.
When medical personnel noticed the two injured men, they transported them to emergency roomboth in code red. Both are guarded by the state police.
The police officers intervened on Via Repubblica and are investigating the matter: only after the forensic operations will it be possible to understand, thanks to the bank staff, whether the theft was successful and possibly quantify the loot.
