A few hours before Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán landed in Rome to meet his friend and ally Giorgia Meloni, an agent of his escort died in hospital in Stuttgart, Germany, after a car accident. It all occurred at 11.15am today, Monday 24 June, while two German police motorcycles were busy escorting Orbán’s blue car. The car, in particular, hit the motorcycle of a 61-year-old policeman, who was thrown onto that of another 27-year-old officer who was blocking the passage. Both officers involved were seriously injured in the accident and the older of the two died shortly later in hospital.
