The Compasso d’Oro, established in 1954 by the ADI (Association for Industrial Design), is assigned every two years after a pre-selection made by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory, which includes experts, designer, critics, historians And specialized journalists. In the history of the award, four Ferraris were awarded: the F12 Berlinetta in 2014, the FXX K in 2016, the Monza SP1 in 2020 and the Thoroughbred in 2024.
The latter was chosen by the jurors because it represents a concentrate of technology and a courageous innovation that goes beyond the conventions of grand tourers, introducing an element of concrete innovation into a now mature sector.
