The cold drop, responsible for the ongoing worsening, will continue to insist on the central-western Mediterranean basin, bringing conditions of widespread instability to our region until at least mid-week. Tense winds, showers and a marked drop in temperature will characterize the coming week.
According to the Limet Center, today Monday 24 June starting from the night we will have showers that will begin to affect the eastern Liguria, rapidly extending to the central-western part of the region by the morning; we cannot rule out some thunderclaps in the period mentioned in La Spezia. From the central hours, the precipitation will also extend to the regional west with possible thunderstorms and showers, more likely on the Po Valley slopes and in the Maritime/Ligurian Alps sector. In the evening, possible storm surge from the east, with greater involvement of the east and inland areas, evolving towards the rest of the region at night.
Moderate or strong winds, with local reinforcements up to gale force, northerly between Genoa and Capo Mele, moderate from east/northeast to east and variable in the Imperia area. Rough sea, up to very rough offshore and on the west, stretched from the north along the coast. Minimum temperatures stationary or slightly decreasing, more marked in internal areas. Maximums slightly decreasing everywhere: on the coast minimums between 16 and 20 degrees, maximums between 20 and 24 degrees; inside minimums between 8 and 17 degrees, maximums between 16 and 22 degrees.
