Liguria. The Liguria Region will support the energy efficiency of public buildings and buildings in public use in 19 municipalities in the Ligurian hinterland. The regional council, on the proposal of the regional councilor for economic development with responsibility for energy Alessio Piana, approved the refinancing of a further 1.5 million euros for the regional tender, dedicated to the Municipalities recognized by the National Internal Areas Strategy.

In particular, the measure which thus exceeds the 2.5 million available, under action 5.2.1 of the PR FESR 2021-2027, will allow the Municipalities of the internal areas of the Antola and Tigullio Valleys, of the Beigua-Sol , from the Alta Valle Arroscia and Val di Vara requesting access to a maximum of 150 thousand euros as a non-repayable grant to make at least 100 square meters of walkable surface energy efficient.

“To respond to the great result of participation in the tender dedicated to reducing consumption and improving the energy performance of public buildings in the municipalities of the internal areas, we have increased the economic allocation of the tender to 2.5 million euros, allowing all 19 municipalities requesting access to the regional contribution to cover 100% of the investments made – comments the regional councilor for Economic Development with responsibility for Energy Alessio Piana – Among the projects that have already obtained the concession provision and are ready to start with the investments include the municipalities of Rossiglione, Mendatica, Torriglia, Davagna, Campo Ligure and Beverino”.

The interventions envisaged by the tender include: the insulation of the building envelope, the replacement of windows and doors, the creation of ventilated walls/vertical gardens/green roofs, the installation of screening systems or devices for automated control, the purchase of systems solar thermal systems or other systems powered by renewable sources intended for self-consumption (within the limit of 20%), the efficiency of the lighting or transport system (for example elevators or escalators) and the creation of a district heating network.
