The words of the Getafe president on the future of Mason Greenwood, the transfer target of Lazio and many clubs in this summer window
Among the transfer dreams for Lazio there is Mason Greenwood, talented born in 2001 leaving Manchester United. The English adopted an adamant policy after the arrest and charges, later dropped, of attempted rape by the footballer. Which is why Greenwood remains on the exit after ending a brilliant season on loan at Getafe. The president of the Spaniards, Angel Torres Sanchezmeanwhile he spoke about the future of English to the microphones of Brandhoping for a stay:
“We hope to have good news about Greenwood. The media says he has many offers, we will stick to what Manchester United tells us. With each passing day, however, he is more likely to stay here, we have to be careful. We are still waiting for news, the boy is now on holiday. His contract expires on 30 June (2025, ed.) and United are called to make a choice, I couldn’t say whether to sell him permanently. The player wants to go to a big team but he is happy here, if he stays he is happy”.
