The Nola City of Lilies he is the Italian men’s champion sitting volleyball: after the beautiful semi-final won yesterday against Giocoparma, the Campania team repeated their results today at the “Lorenzo Ponti” stadium in Parma, beating the Fermana Volleyball School 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-14).
For Nola Città dei Gigli, it is the fifth national title: after those won in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023. In the morning, however, the final for the third step of the podium was played in the same facility. The home team Giocoparma climbed onto the third step of the podium and came from behind, at the end of an intense and spectacular match, with a score of 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-18) the Campanians of the Volley Academy TC.
Returning to the final for first and second place, an intense first set, played ball after ball for long stretches by the two teams who did not hold back. Fermana Volleyball School did well at the start to contain Nola’s attacks. As actions go by Nola took a few points lead (16-13). The match continued with constant tearing from one side to the other. Third set which again saw the Campania team protagonists of a good game organization (11-6) and good at resisting the attacks of the Fermana Volleyball School.
